This is the Ancient Agora, the business center of old Athens. To the left the Temple of Hephaistos, to the right the Stoa of Attalos.
The Plaka just below the Acropolis. Lykavittos Hill is towering inthe background. The Parliament Building on the Syntagma Square is at the top right, just left of the green area which is a part of the Athens National Garden.
The dark green square of trees is the first Athens cemetary.
The Faliro Peace and Friendship Stadium in Piraeus, the harbour town of Athens which today has become a part of Athens itself.
The Filopappos Hill next to the Acropolis. The view of the Acropolis from there is something else. Below and in front of it is the taxi parking and the bus parking for visitors to the Acropolis.
This view North from the Acropolis has Monastiraki Square in the middle of the picture, with Plaka in front of it. The lonely tall building further out just before the smog obscures the view is the Hondos Center, a department store at Omonia Square.
